Learning Goal: Students will be able to explain why the Middle Ages were an important period in European history.

Today's Objective: Students will be able to discuss how a Germanic chieftain provides for his warriors.


We will finish reviewing (Jeopardy) from yesterday.  Then on your blogs I want you to write a paragraph or more on the following question:


"Imagine you will soon become a Germanic chieftain.  Explain what you would provide for your warriors."  Make sure you use your books.


Last, begin reading chapter 18 section 1.  Mark your book as you read and create a list of items that you feel are important.  You should create a list of at least 8 items.  This list will be due on Monday.
